Opportunities

The focus of NUEVO pre-professional training is to provide individualized instruction for student dancers seeking careers, education, and experience for a variety of genres and opportunities including:

- National & international contemporary, modern, or classical dance companies
- Commercial work in L.A., New York, & other metropolitan centers of entertainment worldwide
- Prestigious universities & colleges with renowned dance programs supported by excellent scholarship opportunities
- Broadway shows with a strong emphasis on dance technical training
- Scholarships to prestigious summer intensive programs & dance conventions
- Teaching
- Choreography

Well prepared dancers have many opportunities to be accepted into prestigious university dance programs and dance companies, apply for scholarships, participate in dance competitions, attend conventions, and be represented by agencies. The lists below are not exhaustive but do include many prominent programs and resources identified by NUEVO. The artistic director and faculty can provide additional advice.
